In this document, we will discuss the necessary steps start to finish for setting up your connected business. From completing the signup process to processing your first sale. We will go through every step to make sure you're aware of whats needed to complete the signup and account creation process.
Step 1: Creating your account
- Navigate to our Signup Page and select the plan that fits your needs
- Link: https://saasypos.com/
- Fill out the required information pertaining to the Business
- Fill out the "Tell us about yourself" information
- Agree to the Terms & Conditions, and EULA agreement to proceed
- Select any Hardware or Accessories you may need
- The Pax E700 Unit is an all-in-one device designed for retail shops
- Quantity can be selected on Check Out page
- Confirm the Number of Locations
- Confirm the Quantity of any Hardware selected
- Select Subscription Term (Yearly/Monthly)
- Proceed to checkout
Now your account build out will begin. You will receive two emails from SaasyPOS. The first will have an activation link which you will need to click on and the second will be a "Welcome" email informing you that your account is ready for use.
Please allow between up to 10 minutes for the emails to be sent. Be sure to check your Junk/Spam boxes.
Step 2: Setting up your account
- Use the Sign In link provided in the Welcome email to access your account for setup.
- Complete your Business Setup by following the wizard
- Enter Business Information
- Create the Primary Location
- Create additional users
- Set business rules and configurations
- Complete the Merchant Application form for Credit Card Processing

Step 3: Adding Inventory
- Navigate to Inventory then select Products
- Follow steps 1-4
- Add a Department
- Add a Category
- Add a Manufacturer
- Add a Vendor
- Navigate back to Products
- Select Add Product
- Enter product information into template
Step 4a: Connect your Pax E700 to your Business
- Open the SaasyPOS application
- Sign in with your business login
- Follow wizard for register setup
- Step 1:
- Select the Business & Location from the drop down
- Select the Register or add new register if there isn't one
- ie. POS1
- Note: VTI = Video Text Insertion: SaasyPOS can overlay transaction information with compatible CCTV systems to offer enhanced connectivity between your POS and CCTV Solution. For more information please email us at (NEW LINK HERE)

- Confirm previously configured business settings for register
- Step 9:
- Electronic Tender Configuration
- For PAX E-Series Devices (Pax E700)
- Select "Electronic Tender Type" drop down
- Select "PAX"
- Tap "Next"

- Enable/Disable CC Service Fee (if applicable)
- The credit card service fee feature allows merchants to pass along their credit card fee to their customers to reduce the amount of credit card fees the merchant pays for processing card payments. There are special rules surrounding this feature to remain PCI/DSS Compliant and signs that must be present at the Point of Sale for consumers to see.

Step 4b: Connect your iOS or Android Tablet to your Business
- Download and Open the SaasyPOS application
- Sign in with your business login
- Follow the wizard for register setup
- Step 1:
- Select the Business & Location from the drop-down
- Select the Register or add a new register if there isn't one

- Enter Payment processor information
- Proceed to "Next" if information isn't available
- Tap "next"

Take some time to navigate the program and familiarize yourself with the different menus. Below is a brief explanation of what each sub-menu offers and how they relate to each other.

- Start invoices with customers directly from this sub-menu

- Payout
- Allows User to issue a paid out directly from Point of Sale to 3rd party services
- Pay In
- Allows User to add money to the Point of Sale and have it tracked
- Cash Drop
- Allows User to Drop Cash out of the drawer and logs it into the system
- Cash Count
- Allows User to count the amount of cash in the register to confirm overage/shortages throughout the day.
- Reset Drawer
- Resets the current cash drawer reading to Zero Dollars ($0).
- Use with caution

Step 6: Using Dashboard
Take some time to navigate the SaasyPOS Online Dashboard. Business owners will use this to add/edit/delete products, run business critical reports, view/edit/add/delete customers, view invoices, and adjust business rules/settings.
